Summary:

Last summer was a transformative season for 110 courageous women in our rural communities. Through our tailoring training program, they not only mastered the art of sewing but also gained a newfound confidence that radiated through every stitch they made. The joy of crafting garments for their loved ones and earning from their skill has sparked a remarkable change in their lives and in their communities.

Building on Success:

Inspired by last year's achievements, where 70 women were equipped with their own sewing machines, we are thrilled to announce the expansion of our program this summer. We aim to dive deeper into the world of fashion and entrepreneurship with advanced training sessions on shirt stitching, innovative blouse designs, embroidery techniques, and more. Our program will also welcome new members, offering them the fundamental skills to kickstart their journey in tailoring.

Our Goal for This Summer:

To make this vision a reality, we are setting out to raise 10 Lakh rupees (approximately $12,000). These funds will cover advanced training for our past participants, entry-level courses for new members, and the provision of sewing machines for nearly 50 new participants ready to start their tailoring journey.
