Vision
Our mission is to raise environmental consciousness and motivate the youth to undertake extensive tree planting. This initiative is geared towards cultivating a healthier ecosystem, assuring breathable air and a healthier lifestyle for generations to come.
Impact Since 2012: Starting in 2012, our initiative has seen remarkable growth. As of January 1, 2024, we have successfully planted a total of 15,000 plants and provided 5,500 tree guards. This effort has resulted in significant greenery enhancement around school areas and villages, with increasing participation and enthusiasm from students and villagers each year.
Methodology & Achievements
- Sapling Procurement and Plantation: We obtain saplings from the district forest development authority at a nominal cost, handling their transportation. Our annual plantation events, held in July and August, take place in schools and key village locations.
- Student Involvement: Schools under the adoption of Sneha Hasthaalu && Pari Foundation are given priority. We engage senior students in the plantation, assigning them individual or group responsibilities for plant care within their school premises.
- Education and Motivation: Through awareness speeches and awards, we encourage student participation.
- Monitoring and Protection: Regular monthly reviews ensure the healthy growth of the plants, which are often protected by iron meshes and labeled with the names of donors.
